Copying me is NOT new to me. This has been going on for decades. It's because they want to be like ME! :) And because they can't think of anything themselves. And they are even trying to copy my phone number!!!! You hate me so much, but want to do things just like me???? Here are some of my sayings I've been using since the mid 80's. The first two are the two they copy the most: "I train you to train your dog."© "I come to you." "Do you walk your dog, or does your dog walk you?"© "Does your dog walk you, or do you walk your dog?"© "Need help training your dog?" And my Favorite: "It doesn't matter how long you've been doing something wrong.... it doesn't make it RIGHT!"© These are just a few. So now you know where they have come from. DON'T SETTLE FOR THOSE CHEAP COPY CATS! TRAIN WITH THE ORIGINAL!
Some businesses and people are posting EVERY DAY! And have 2 or 3 ads EVERYDAY! Are they THAT desperate? Is their business in such dire straights they have to STEAL from other (me) HARD WORKING people and then try to claim it as theirs? Craigslist ads are free. You can post every other day. WHY do they abuse that? While it is nice that they like my ads so much that they MUST copy it, I would think they could come up with their OWN catch phrases. While it IS nice you want to be like ME, have you learned NOTHING in all the years you say you have trained that you can't come up with you own phrase? Is your training lacking so much you have to steal from ME to try to make yourself look better? SHAME ON YOU!!!

MY Craigslist Ad Rules: I will NOT post EVERYDAY. I will NOT post EVERYDAY, 2 or 3 times EVERYDAY. I will NOT copy anyone else's ad. I will NOT post whiny & cry baby responses. I will NOT send nasty threatening emails to anyone. I will NOT make false claims to try to get your business. I will NOT flag legitimate ads. WHY you might ask: Because I have BETTER things to do with my time! I am ACTUALLY training dogs and handlers! I guess they have time to "play" on Craigslist because they are not! And are getting desperate??? Because I am NOT insecure about myself or my training. My training has proven itself. That's why people COPY my training & decoy styles. And since I am secure about my methods and myself, I do not waste my time sending people whiny and cry baby threatening emails! I do NOT need to copy anyones ad. Mine are genuine! I came up with my own catch phrases decades ago that I have been using LONGER than most of them have been training! I am NOT in competition with ANYONE! I don't need to be. If someone knows something I don't know, GREAT, I hope I can get them to teach me and make my training even better! No ONE trainer knows EVERYTHING about EVERY DOG. Every dog is different. In my training, I do not waste my time with silliness. I go right for the quick, the cause of the problem. Then I resolve it. And the symptoms go away. I won't try to be your best friend. You probably already have one, your dog! I am a PROFESSIONAL trainer that WILL help you with your dog and you will be able to get the results you WANT! And "IF" I cannot help you, I will help you find someone who can help you with your problem. I am not afraid to ask for help when needed. Now that doesn't mean I will be mean, rude, or nasty with you as some have told me has happened to them. I create a POSITIVE, PRACTICAL, and BALANCED atmosphere for you and your dog. Then training goes well! ===================== PLEASE be careful of all the crazy Craigslist ads. There are a lot of con artists trying to take your money and run! They always have a gimmick. Guaranteed results, lifetime guarantee, fix your dog in ONE session. "Cheap" dog training. PLEEAAASSSEEEEEE!!! A little common sense should tell you something is just not right about these claims. ===================== There's always a catch: Guaranteed results. WHAT kind of results? The kind you WANT? There will always be results. They just might not be what you think they should be. Lifetime Guarantee. I love this one! ha ha ha Sorry, just had to laugh. The catch usually is them coming back, "refreshing" the dogs mind because they as a handler know (or should know) how to correct the dog TO refresh its mind then suddenly, there is NO problem. And since there isn't a problem, you have to PAY them for their time to come out. This is because they never really show YOU how to handle the dog. They usually just show you just enough to get by. Of the HUNDREDS of people I know who have fallen for this one...every single one has had to pay! That is why I train YOU to train your dog! Fix your dog in one session. This is "kinda" possible. It's more training YOU the handler to catch the dog so it doesn't keep doing the thing you don't want it to do. So then the dog learns quickie not to do it. Many of the problems I can help you resolve are simply informing you, the handler as to WHY the dog is doing something then you are able to stop it BEFORE the dog does it. Cheap Training. Cheap training is just that, CHEAP! To quote ASR Founder Ted Hoppe: "NO TRAINING (Not Training), IS BETTER THAN POOR TRAINING"! You can go to the "dollar" stores and buy really cheap junk. It MAY be all you need. But when you NEED quality, you go to the PROFESSIONAL. And certainly it costs more. But you SHOULD get what you are paying for. Spending your hard earned money is never easy. But when you get the QUALITY results you get from a real PROFESSIONAL, you know it was well worth it! Clicker Training Seriously? My My MMMMYYYYY!!! Why not just teach your dog to LISTEN to your VOICE???? WHY would you want to have to carry a device that you could easily lose to try to control your dog? Now, I can see if a person cannot speak. Then this could be a way to control a dog. But this is a special case. Search & Rescue Training This is a new, well, not really new, way of getting money out of people. The chances of YOU using your dog in a REAL situation???? Slim to none! You may see it on tv..... Now, if you desire to do this, go for it! The more you do with your dog the better. Give your dog tasks. Build a bond with your dog whether its obedience, protection, agility, etc. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR DOG! Now "IF" you can do it MY way, perfectly, every single time just like I would do it, which you can't because you have not trained as many dogs as I have, then I would give all those silly guarantee's. And IF you could do it exactly like me, WHYYYYY would you need me or any other trainer??? ===================== A lot of "trainers" lower their standards because they, or the dogs they train, cannot meet the standard. I will NEVER lower my standard to meet the dog! I will NEVER lower the quality of my training! I will raise the standard of the DOG and HANDLER to MEET or exceed the standard! I have set my goals and standards very HIGH. I will strive to bring you, the handler, your dog, and the most important part, my training, to meet the HIGHEST of Standards!
